    I realize that no two people experience life in the same manner so services should not be the same.  This is why I created Beyond the Root Counseling and Consulting, PLLC to provide a supportive, safe environment which will empower you to explore and face life challenges in the areas of your life that you desire to change.  As you identify and rediscover your inner strengths through commitment to sessions, self-awareness, self-acceptance, empowerment, and finding your self-worth that will help you live a better, more enriched life. I tailor my sessions to meet the specific needs of my clients.

    Having some level of anxiety in your everyday life is normal. When you find yourself worrying about every aspect of your life, it can be difficult to manage. Those thoughts can become unhelpful leaving you to feel frustrated. You may start to notice that you have created negative scenarios in your head assuming that the worst is going to happen. It can be hard to shut it off, leaving you feeling anxious, overwhelmed and exhausted. These symptoms can prevent you from living your best life. You may experience difficulties in your relationships, concerns about getting sick and not having enough money for the future. The good thing is you can learn to develop more balance thoughts to face uncertainty head on. You can also learn coping skills to help you manage your anxious thoughts. 

    Collectively we can:

    1) explore the root cause of your anxiety, 

    2) establish ways to manage your symptoms, 

    3) Implement tools to gain relief and 

    4) reach your ty and personal goals.

    Factors that may contribute to your stress and anxiety are some of the following:

    • Stress at home
    • Breakups/Separation/Divorce 
    • Frequent Arguments with Spouse 
    • Lack of resources
    • Miscarriage/Infertility/Stillbirth 
    • Caregiving
    • Unwanted pregnancy or past abortions 
    • Lack of support or feelings of lack of support
    • Loneliness

    This list can go on and on. It will also be different for everyone. Together we will design an exclusive therapy plan to help you experience some relief and reach personal goals.
